It must be 10 years to this day, or another day give or take a year or two, that I decided I should start a blog.

As the years rolled by, and my resolve eventually saw fit to rise from it’s stiff haunches and realise some machination that would facilitate its execution, I observed things:

• Blogs were new (subtext cool)
• Blogs are huge! Anyone who is anyone has a blog.
• I’m sorry I can’t quite hear … BLOOOOGOGOGOG!!!11!!!1one
• <social>
• WTF. A Blog? That’s more passé than saying “that’s so passé”

I think that last point is what swung it for me, being a dad and stuff.
